UPDATE: PS3HEN 3.2.0 by @Joonie is available now at ps3xploit.me
It is expected to be released within 1 or 2 weeks... maybe more due @Joonie is adding new features included in Cobra 8.4.
(not all the features, only the ones that are possible)

Hi guys, can i get banned for installing HFM 4.90 over OFW 4.90 on CECH4004A and using psn to install demo? Can be the OFW 4.90 somehow reverted back?

Thanks for anything! Funny thing is that I was on 4.89 but didn't know about this forum. So i updated my OFW 4.89 > 4.90.
 
Friends i accidentally updated my PS3 super slim to version 4.90 and my power button is too broken how can I get to recovery mode what should I do now

Very unlikely. HFW alone (without HEN installed) looks pretty much like OFW. Not as much as DB, but shouldn't be detectable server side.
 
Hola, tengo mi ps3 en 4.90 oficial, intencional instal HFW y me sale que no hay archivos de actualización aplicables, qué debo hacer?
Tampoco puedo a modo recovery...

HFW includes system files from older firmware versions.
When HEN is installed, the replaced files are restored.

So HFW without HEN, is a modified OFW that is not very close to OFW yet.
HFW with HEN installed but not enabled shouldn't be detectable.

DB is as close to OFW as possible but it is intended to be installed over CFW.

*CECH-3003B* Can someone please HELP me with HFW or at least OFW.. My ps3 will NOT update to hfw 4.90.1 and i dont know why, I put the usb in and it shows the update.. I press "OK" to update and it copys the file but gets to about 65% and then fails.. It says it corrupted and gives me an error code.. (8002F997) and i dont know what to do. Im kind of fed up at the moment because of this as all i wish i to do is see my friends again. If someone can tell me why this is happening or what i can do to fix it ill be very greatful.

Every time I go to auto hen installer and press install hen it just freezes my ps3, and the same with the alternative. It says preparing… and then freezes. Yes I've downloaded the update. 5 times. And once with recovery mode. And they did nothing. Does anyone also have this issue and does anyone also have a clue why this shit isn't working for me

Enabling HEN doesnt work for me either! I get failed, than failed then failed then failed then failed then failed then failed then failed then failed.

Trying alternate - preparing - freeze, "do you want to report to sony interactive entertainment?"

Have done everything by the book, deleted cache, disabled browser close promt, am on slim CECH-2104A. HELP?
