Its simple. Just use the auto installer on the ps3xploit.me main page under PS3HEN menu.

I know, when i did that it shows " you must install hfw " and i already installed this version , THis happened when i used alternate installer , but when i used auto installer it says : failed , restart your system and try again.

Set auto page to home page

For the firmware thing, just install it in recovery.

My ps3 slim on 4.89.1 +hen 3.1.1 +webman+multiman was doing well, mainly used to load ps3 iso games from my ntfs pendrve.
Yesterday I tried loading persona 5 22gb iso from the pendrive and my ps3 was acting weird and I was unable to rebuild database so I formatted the hdd using low level format, installed official4.9 then 4.9.1 hfw + ps3hen 3.2.2 .
now I am unable to get webman nor multiman nor irisman to recognize the ntfs ps3iso folder , they do not show the pendrive at all, i uninstalled webman and entered cobra mode in multiman then entered movian , now the games shows up but i am unable to copy isos to the internal hdd.
I also noticed that the hen icon in the xmb disappears after activating hen and thus unable to use the 3 man apps nor pkgi as if the hen exploit is deactivated
Can anyone show me a fix to these problems.

Can anyone help when I put my usb in my ps3 superslim and I go to system update via storage media its says "no applicable update data was found" my flash is 32fat my ps3 is 4.90 idk what to do

if you are using a wired unofficial controller all you have to do is go to recovery mode while your fat32 pendrive is inserted + the hfw located in PS3-->UPDATE folder , hit the option to update the firmware and when you hit start+select disconnect your controller wire so that the ps3 reads the pendrive , when you are prompt to hit start+select for 5 seconds , reconnect the wired controller and push the 2 buttons for 5 seconds when the window change disconnect the controller again .
i hope this will help you , i was getting the same problem and i resolved it using this method

i figured out what was going on , all the problems i was experiencing with the new HFW4.90.1+HEN 3.2.2 was due to using a non original ps3 controller ( brand new ardistel wired ps3 controller) while reinstalling ofw4.90-->hfw 4.90.1-->hen 3.2.2-->3 man apps (webman multiman and irisman ) while i had this ardistel controller plugged in. i was getting errors when installing webman multiman irisman managunz and even pkgi . so i reinstalled everything after reformatting the hdd using the wired official controller ( battery is messed up ) and now everything is working fine no glitches no freezings .

HEN is not deactivated, its normal for icon to disappear after XMB is refreshed

You can install a backup manager with File Manager (multiMAN, IRISMAN or ManaGunZ) to inject any file that you need.
This is possible on HEN or CFW.

These ps3xploit injection tools are intended mainly for people on OFW that don't want or cannot install HEN or CFW for any reason.

I successfully formatted my usb and downloaded the HFW to my SuperSlim PS3 (twice). After following instructions and attempting to visit ps3xploit.me on console web browser to install HEN, I receive error code 403: Forbidden.

Is the site down for maintenance, or is there something restricting my access?

As I far as I knew, Superslim mods weren't possible. But maybe you found a working one.

But to answer your question, yes, it is down. You would be able however, to host your own ps3xploit page(s) using xampp. This program would basically allow you to host the necessary webpage over your local network and the job would be done all the same.

How exactly do I inject the certificate though? I've installed all 3 programs on my PS3 and I've put my .cer file in place but all it does it literally open it and look at it. There does not seem to be any option to actually do something with it.

You cannot modify/add to the SSL certificates repository without also at least modifying vsh.self, all certs are hashed and the hashes are verified on load attempts.
It goes without saying that vsh.self cannot be patched on non CFW consoles except potentially in memory for those segments that are accessible to write operations.

Good news, I got it to work after gaining access to the alternate download in the ps3 web browser.

The most problematic part of the installation was the initial setup from the usb. My model of PlayStation just wouldn't detect the usb despite being fat32..

then I read some dude's comment on a different thread here at psx-place (he had a bender pfp with a sombrero & moustache) who mentioned that unplugging the controller while searching in safe mode can sometimes fix this issue..

and it did! I got full & clean Hen install on SuperSlim model number listed above.

It's worthy to note though that I cannot save games to the hdd, this is either a caveat of the model, or my inexperience.

I have the same issue. 4.90.1 installed correctly, also HEN installed w/o any issue. Everytime I click on Enable Hen, it just works and freezes in the middle of the process. Is there any solution for this?
