So the way in doing it now is disabling the Modchip on startup and using a freemcboot card
But I don't want to use freemcboot
Another way I see it being done is by using dev1/dev2 but I don't like how you can't just get to the standard ps2 bios, I think you can press x on boot to boot into it and skip dev1/dev2 but it skips all the settings you've done one the matrix menu (or does it just boot into the bios and keep the settings?) Is there another way?
Also is booting opl from HDD bad? I think I've seen that somewhere I'm not sure
