I have PS3Hen, and I want to play Need For Speed Underground 2 but its way too laggy and I heard that do I need to put config files on the PS2ISOs folder(encrypted ones) but no matter what, the config files don't work, Need For Speed Underground 2 is still laggy, and Jak X gets stick on the saving screen and that Game needs a config file to fix it too. So how do I put config files on PS2 Classics Placeholder since I don't want to use PKGs for my PS3? Cant find a way to put config files on PS2 Classics Placeholder for any game.

If you use webMANMOD it has a built in add-on function to download and install the most up to date PS2Config.pkg

It should be everything you need to get your game running (if it has a config/fix).

Is this enabled on automatically because Jak X still hangs up on the saving screen and Need For Speed Underground 2 is still very laggy.

I simply renamed my ISO images to the same as the CONFIG file on my slim when I used it.

EX.

JACKX.ISO
JACKX.ISO.CONFIG

It will work then just fine. Just asong as they are named this way I know it works great. I haven't had to use them in a while since I finally got my BC systems back. But I know @aldostools has done some work for detection.

Two things to mention, one, my PS2 games are BIN ENC files, not ISO files, so do I need to name them as JACKX.BIN.ENC.CONFIG as an example? and second the configs are in the PS2ISO folder, right?

I've the same problem with Need For Speed: Underground 2 being laggy on my PS3 with PS3Hen. webMAN-MOD does automatically install the config file to the PS2ISO directory, but it feels like it's not applied when the game is started (using the PS2 Classics Placeholder), because the game is still laggy.

The game and config has the same name (Need for Speed - Underground 2 (SLES-52584).BIN.ENC & Need for Speed - Underground 2 (SLES-52584).BIN.ENC.CONFIG) in the PS2ISO directory.

What can be gone wrong?

Sorry for bad english--
Higly recommended install the PS2 Database Config pkg
You´ll need to add the Title ID in square brackets in the correct form.
Example:

Urban Chaos - Riot response [SLUS_213.90].BIN.ENC

After that, the config will be applied automatically to the game

De PS2 config database is already installed and the config is automatically placed in the correct place, but it's just not applied when the game is started.

I used "( )" instead of "[ ]" around the game ID, but that should not matter?

Hey @aldostools I tried playing pro evolution soccer 6 on my ps3 and i needed the config files and when I did this:
Pro Evolution Soccer 6.BIN.ENC

And it worked the first time but then it didnt and i did put them in the PS2ISO folder and I dont know what to do now. Any help?
