PS3 How do I reinstall my PS3 system and hard disk?

So my PS3 has been having errors for a year, because when I wanted to reset the PS3, the power suddenly went out, and my PS3 couldn't be used for a year.

This year, I wanted to try to fix that, I bought a new hard drive, 500 GB in size, I replaced the hard drive, but forgot to check the previous version, so... I'm a bit stuck there.

I'm using PS3 cfw, I forgot the version, between 4.91, 4.91.1, 4.91.2, or 4.92, but I think my PS3 is using version 4.91, I've tried using all versions, and it won't install. My PsS3 says "No applicable update data was found", I've tried moving the flash drive to the right USB, and it still doesn't work.

I even installed version 4.80, and it still doesn't work. I WANT TO PLAY RDR AND GTA 5!!!

... Anyone can help and give me advice or tips?

- Jefri ;)

must use righthand usb port. make sure using MBR and FAT32. make sure folder and file names are correct.

if all else fails, unplug controller after pressing start and select to search for update. leave unplugged until it finds update or fails.

if you installed ofw, you will have to use ps3toolset site to flash again before it will accept any cfw pup.

if using SSD, try a real HDD.

good luck

I just wanted to say thank you! Now my PS3 is working normally again!

I appreciate you, friend. God bless you.
