I tried to use SEN Enabler but it will only let me spoof to 4.87. Does anyone know how to bypass this?
Won't the updatelist thing work like what happens on Hen
if you mean using the txt file with webman, it seems to not be working on CFW (at least for some people).Won't the updatelist thing work like what happens on Hen

For anyone considering spoofing you should be aware of this post on Twitter by the developer of SEN Enabler. Spoofing could be more risky now than it was before due to changes Sony have made.

do not use PsNinja. it is too old.Nice man thanks for the info. Also I use Sen Enabler(keeping it at 4.87 all the time), PsNinja and PSNpatch at the same time and I've been playing fine for 5 months. I hope 4.88 dosent change that.

I do not know all the details of why it is obsolete but it has not been updated in a very long time. a lot has changed since then (though not much recently). anytime i have seen it meantioned in the past few years, the experts always warn against using it.Why tho? I've seen alot videos on yotube and everyone seems to use it on cfw to wipe/replace history, clear web browser history and make history read only whatever they do. Just for precaution.
Never forget too much precaution sometimes can be bad haha. For example, in case Sony can see the history, won't it be weird to have a perfectly clean history when going online? Not even the PS3 boot there (if it includes such a thing). Also, why would a PS3 have the history as read-only if Sony didn't program it like that? (Of course, all of this can still work, but no one actually knows. Some tools I guess are just too old and start being thought of maybe not that good idea since Sony possibly improved their methods since PSNinja was coded - and with DeViL's message, if it's true, there's one right there.)Why tho? PS: I'm no expert on this. Just saying some things that could get you thinking, in case they apply here.

Simple enough then! Use webMAN. It's what I do. So I can load the games I want and no homebrew will ever be launched. It's directly from the XMB. I don't even have multiMAN installed on the PS3 haha. Only webMAN and SEN Enabler (this last one because I'm on CFW, since HEN users will soft brick the PS3 if they use something inside it).Never thought it that way man but good point. But I have to use it since some of the games I launch are inside the multiman. If I dont then they can see that.
Mr Freeze Or Does Not Load Black ScreenWhat do you mean?
