How do you copy psx games to the HDD?

I've looked everywhere and cannot find a guide for this. I know how to play psx games from a usb, but that seems to be the only thing covered on youtube or that I can find mentioned online. I'm trying to copy them directly to the ps3 like you would a ps2 game. All I can find are ps2, psp, and ps3 tutorials. I'd really appreciate some help, a link to an old thread even.

copy bin and cue files to PSXISO on internal hdd. if the folder doesn't exist, create it. I don't use psx games anymore on my cfw ps3. I dumped all of mine on the psx classic. I think wmm should detect them if you scan for them.

Where and how do I create that folder? I've seen some pop up when I browse wmm or mm but haven't messed with them out of fear of touching something I shouldn't

Would it be in the same place ps2 games go in wmm? I've clicked on a folder there before that led me to different cues bins and tracks from games inside the usb. Am I close to where I need to be?

You can create PSXISO folder on either the internal or an external hard drive. Various backup managers, including webMAN MOD, IRISMAN, ManaGunZ, multiMAN etc. look for this location(s) when searching for PS1 backups.

I managed to create a PSXISO folder in the dev_HDD0 through FileZilla and used WMM to run them, but now I have a few more questions/problems


1) I didn't see any of my official psn purchases while digging through the ps3. Where would I find these? And if I put my psx files in there, will they show up in the same place psn psx classics go? I'm thinking no because they're in bin cue form, but I'd still like to see them.


2) I've been turning ps2 ISOs into PKGs in order to install them. These games are going to where PSN ps2 purchases would go. I'm assuming ps3 games over 4gb would be copied in the same way. Does this method work for psx games?


3) I dunno how but I put a ps2 ISO in the same place my psx games are going. It happened through the usb, and now I can't figure out how to delete it. When I open WMM it's under a ps2 folder. I looked in the PS2ISOs folder in dev_hdd0 to no luck.


4) Is there a way to copy psx games to the PSXISO folder without FileZilla? It's been slow transferring lately and I'd rather use a usb.


5) 2 psx games I tried passing through FileZilla, Megaman Legends and Star Wars Demolition, came out as multiple track files. Where did I go wrong and how I fix that in the future?
