PS3 How to do a permanent overclock with the new Evilnat 4.92.2 CFW?

I'm trying to use the method in the tutorial by creating a "overclock.txt" file and pasting it to the dev/hdd0 root folder of my PS3 but after restarting it stays on default clock speeds, should it take a while or should it be instantaneous when it loads up the XMB? Please help.

Appreciate it. I tried with webman mod and the configuration seems permanent now but I prefer your method. I will try copying it to the root of my USB drive, it should be instantaneous right? Thanks again.

Edit: It worked beautifully. Have to say I am amazed by this, coming from mfwbuilder and freaking out when doing each update to having the settings right there in the XMB is a game changer, it seems to good to be true. I really want to ask what made you decide on adding this feature, was it requested a lot?
