Current story, ps3(Slim - CECH - 2001A) stuck in update loop of trying to evilnat 4.9, gives error 8002F14E

Most recent previous state was that it had evilnat 4.9(no BD) and was trying to install the with BD so I could do a remarry and then it went sideways

I have also tried
I have a harddrive clone (original ps3 harddrive) since before it was modded & on 4.9 stock firmware. I put that in and my old BD (broken controller ) drive. This will boot and give me the option of installing a firmware, (start + select) however if I choose 4.9 stock, or 4.9 evil no BD. I immediately get a failure saying 8002f281. What can I do to fix.

I have also seen someone suggest to just pull the NEW HD out will the update was happening and have it reboot inwhich case it should ask you to install the firmware (this did not work)

History.
Had a broken BD controller, bought a new drive. installed evilnat 4.9 and did a remarry. New drive didn't work, so I installed evilnat 4.9(no BD). I then returned the drive thinking that I would be fine.

New drive came and I tried to flash with system with evilnat 4.9(normal). got stuck in system updating loop. It fails at ~44% with error 8002F14E.

I do have the eid keys of my harddrive.

I was able to get unstuck, by inserting a harddrive that had windows on it. The ps3 took the firmware upgrade to evilnat 4.9(noBD) during that process and formatted the drive in the process.

Update loop related to HDD can be get rid off by formatting dev_hdd1 on PC (You need ERK to decrypt it). But if You don't care about data, of course easier is just make drive unrecognizable by PS3 (it is enough to overwrite first 512B) and format it.
