PS3HEN How to remove Hen?

I remembered that I have an account with games and I wanted to finish them and get platinum. Can I somehow remove hen completely so that I don't get banned? (there is no money for the second ps3)

Reinstalling either HFW or OFW will remove HEN. You may need to install via the recovery menu, if System Update via the XMB will not allow you to reinstall it.

Do I need to format my HDD to remove homebrew app and leftover hen files?

Reinstalling OFW/HFW will remove HEN files and will prevent you from using any homebrew apps. However, if you wanted you could also format the HDD but I don't think it's necessary as being on OFW poses no ban risk.

Just some games report certain information about console and homebrew apps, and I thought that I need to format Hdd so that nothing is left of hen and homebrew apps

You would be on official firmware, without the ability to run homebrew without reinstalling HEN. Reinstalling firmware will remove HEN and make it safe to sign in to PSN without ban risk. If you want to format the HDD and start again clean, by all means do so but it's not a requirement to keep you safe from a ban.

Thanks for the help! But I have one last question about call of duty.
I've seen Call of Duty (Advanced Warfare, Black ops III, Black ops II) scan the hard drive for homebrew files and report to Sony if any files are found.
If I format the hard drive and this way the homebrew files are deleted. Will it be okay and I won't get banned? (I want to buy black ops 3 and play multiplayer)

Yes, if you format you are 100% safe as there will be no files remaining, let alone homebrew ones.
