How to repair PS3 console stuck in FSM

Due to a damaged BD drive, entered FSM using cfw 4.91 for remarrying. Attempted downgrading with lv2diag.self and 3.55 OFW failed (did't downgrade on XMB). Now, the console automatically shuts down after startup, and any firmware cannot be installed (green LED blinks and error code 0x8002f157). Is there any way to repair the console?

Nope. That's why we warn people time and time again not to ever install firmware from FSM. The USB Jig and lv2diag.self file only work on 3.55 or below, and you were above that version when you entered FSM. Whatever files Sony uses for FSM on 3.56+ have not been leaked, and unless that ever happens (quite unlikely at this point), changing firmware from FSM on 3.56+ turns your PS3 into a fancy doorstop.

I remember that only flashing firmware through the XMB in FSM will cause permanent damage. But now, the lv2diag.self is working. I can use JaiCraB's lv2diag.self to back up the flash and have a flash backup. lv2diag.self can also be used to exit FSM (possibly only one chance). Can I try to exit and then restore the flash backup?

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve by restoring a flash backup right after you took it. Furthermore, how are you planning to restore the backup without a hardware flasher?

taking a flash backup or restoring a flash backup that you had created earlier changes nothing. The FSM "flag" is not set on the flash at all, it's inside the syscon and nobody has a way to "flip the switch" except official technicians from Sony.

So feel free to make a backup/restore with a hardware flasher, yet the console will remain on FSM

Sorry for the confusion caused by the previous unclear expression. I have previously backed up the NAND using multiman, and now I can also exit FSM using lv2diag.self. If I successfully exit FSM, can I use the NAND backup to repair the console?

Actually, lv2diag.self currently works, and it can be used to exit FSM. However, due to a failed firmware downgrade, the console is stuck in FSM upgrade mode(without RSOD and lv2diag.self works but firmware was broken). Is it possible to restore the console using a NAND backup after exiting FSM?

FSM upgrade mode is characterized by a black screen and automatic shutdown (if no USB is inserted), awaiting firmware flashing. Currently, any lv2diag.self can work, but any attempt to flash firmware will result in green LED blinking and return error code 0x8002f157 in flash_log.txt.

First of all, you should really exit FSM unless you have something specific you need it for (e.g. drive remarrying). If flashing from FSM failed then it's a godsend because if it had succeeded your console would've been bricked. Just exit FSM and hope things still work.
Regarding the NAND backup - Well, the issue is you'd need a hardware flasher to restore it, and hardware flashers for NAND are a pain in the ass to find these days. Also whether it works or not depends on what the problem is.

Thanks for your advice. In mainland China, NADA Flasher (NANDO) is very easy to purchaes.

The only recommended flasher for NAND is Teensy++ 2.0, which is long out of production. The later revisions (the latest being 4.1) are known not to work.

How are you able to exit FSM ? I'm stuck in FSM on 4.83 and lv2diag.self is not working at all
If you're on CFW and you have not installed or reinstalled any firmware (neither official nor modded) while in FSM then you can exist FSM via the the CFW tools menu. The lv2diag.self method only works on firmware ≤3.55. Theoretically an official lv2diag.self signed by Sony could be used to bring consoles on newer firmware out of FSM but said file has not leaked online in almost 15 years so I doubt it ever will. Unless it happens by miracle, your console is currently a fancy doorstop.
