How update FHDB 1.93 ti 1.966

Hi guys, i've FHDB v 1.93, i tried to flash with hddrawcopy the 1.966 version but then after turn on the console, after the freemcboot 2008 logo, the screen is totally black. So i flashed another time to 1.93 and it works well. So how i can update from 1.93 to 1.966? Thank's a lot

I just tried with this, but after the installation the versione continue to be 1.93..the installer is 5 mb so i must select the new 1.966 version but it can do it

Version string is written in configuration CNF file. It will be adopted if found (installer asking about it anyway), so the version number will not change in such case but FMCB or FHDB will be updated (overwritten).

Personally I don't see a reason to displaying this info. My config looks the same as original Browser. Could also displaying: "spetsnaz89 PS2" or anything which You will write there.

FMCB and FHDB Installer is one application, the choose where to install is Yours. ;]
 
Version of a FMCB\FHDB above v1.95 has got an ability to display proper version even without updating

In this case as Berion mention, if you will not overwrite FREEMCB.CNF\FREEHDB.CNF during installation,
improper version will be displayed,
because you are updating FMCB\FHDB from version 1.93 which do not have a "%VER%" variable.

Additionally you can format your HDD to wipeout everything on it via wLe -> HddManager -> :but r1: -> Format HDD ->:but cir:\:but x:
Do not restart your console.
Launch FMCB\FHDB installer. Install FHDB on HDD.
