I cant update

Hello! I wanna install HFW to my PS3, and after install PSHEN, here is the problem, i create a folder in a usb(fat32) PS3/UPDATE/ and here i put the HFW, HFW_4.84.2_PS3UPDAT_03_22_2019, i tried updating the sistem with the usb, but it says
No applicable update data was found

I tried rename the .PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP, but it doesent worked, also i tried in recovery mode, but it doesent worked, same error, what can i do?

Drive must be with a FAT32 file system but if that is OK
i think you have the extension to be invisible so your file is actually PS3UPDAT.PUP.PUP when you rename it , try to rename it to PS3UPDAT only and see if it works

The easyest way to see if the USB stick have a correct format is by connecting it to the PS3 and it should appear in XMB photo/music
In one of them you can browse his contents (if i remember right is from "photo" icon)

Nope, i dont have the invisible extension, and my usb is in FAT32

Did you check the MD5 of the PUP file after you downloaded it?
