I followed every step in the guide but hen enabler doesn't work

My ps3 super slim model is cech4012c

first I updated my ps3 once with 4.88.1 hen cfw, as guide instructed

Then I go to ps3exploit site with ps3 browser, and selected ps3 hen tab, then clicked another tab that says ps3 hen installer/enabler....just as the guide instructed

Next my ps3 browser auto downloads a small file, then I close the browser as the ps3 exploit site instructed

Finally I reopen the ps3 browser, return to same page, then click on the hen enabler button on the exploit site, as the guide instructed

However, I get a bunch of "cannot find range" errors and then browser starts to behave erratically

I cannot get hen enabled even though I followed every step in the guide, why isn't it working?

Please help, thank you so much

therefore I tried to install hen enabler manually but now my ps3 showed a black screen and I think I bricked it

So that's how it is, I'll never forget what happened here today for sure

Dude if that is how you are going to act GTFO here. People have lives and other things to do. I came to help but after that post I wanted to delete it. Maybe someone else will help you. It hasn't even been two hours. Wish you luck

@peggy747 it takes a little while to get an answer. we have members around the world but some are sleeping, working, or busy with life.

sorry we could not help you quickly enough. i wrote the guide and would have been happy to help you. i would have started by explaining that the guide covers 3 different installation methods so there is no reason to follow every instruction. second, after installing HEN, you must reboot and press X on "Enable HEN". you do not need to open browser or use website to enable HEN.
