Hi. I have a broken bd Or logic board. I have tried with both ferrox 4.82 nobd as well as rebug 4.80 bdemu but i need to play the game through app/ps3_game so not able to play many games. Is there any way out to get the disc icon back? ?

noBD = no disc icon in XMB
You can only play PS3 games by using app/ps3_game... and yeah there are some PS3 games that are not going to work
And you cant use the PS2 emulator either

Thats why a lot of people suggest to fix the hardware instead of installing a noBD CFW

Edit:
And you cant load games from USB, more info here:
https://www.psx-place.com/threads/modified-rebug-4-86-1-lite-for-broken-ps3-nobt-nobd-rsod.28922/
I was able to load games from usb. Both in nobd as well as bdemu.
What about bdemu cfw, can I get the icon in this cfw??

Well, in the thread from the link i posted joonie said "You won't be able to load any game files from USB storage media"

The "BDemu" is not a type of custom firmware, is a type of "mount mode"
Do you know a tool used in PC to mount iso's named "daemon tools" ?... in PS3 there are 2 different ways to do that:
-BDemu
-BDmirror

All backup managers have this mount modes, availables for PS3 games in JB/folder format (not for ISO format)
But im not sure if are going to work... because a noBD firmware doesnt knows what is a BD

But I downloaded the cfw 4.80 rebug rex bdemu. What is the difference between then bdemu or nobd cfws. I will try to post the link also here..
Also, when I was no ferrox 4.82nobd, 2-3 times I got the disc icon when I loaded the game through mm but I don't knw how I did that

Btw, which kind of problem do you have in the BD drive ?, and do you have all his parts in place ?
Im wondering if that 2-3 times you was able to see the disc icon was because you have an electrical intermitent connection caused by one of the ribbon cables

I was not able to load any app from the xmb so I thought that my bd drive was broken. I am not able to open my ps3 as I don't have tools for it and cnt go outside coz of lockdown so trying to do it on software basis

It could be also the connection in between the main motherboard... and... the big chip soldered into the big circuit board inside the BD drive
That chip is the BD controller, and the main motherboard tryes to communicate with it when booting a game/app, and also at a intermediate point of the firmware installations
When that communications fails = black screen
But most of the times is caused because there is a problem in the ribbon cables or the connectors in between the BD drive and the main motherboard

----------------
But you opened the PS3 before ?. And since that point the apps and games was loading into a black screen ?
If both thing happened at the same time (the black screens inmedaitly after opening the PS3), it means you forgot to connect one of the ribbon cables... or you did not connected it properlly

That connectors have a clip that moves (you need to use your finger nails to move it), and the clip allows to move to 2 different positions... lets say one is "open", and the other is "closed", there is some people that breaks that clip when trying to disconnect the ribbon cable, in this case it can be fixed with a plastic, take a read at this posts https://www.psx-place.com/threads/i-need-help-for-broken-blu-ray-ps3.28905/page-2#post-238019

And there is other poeple that pulls from the ribbon cable and disconnects it when the clip is "closed" (but the clip doesnt breaks)... and after that they tryes to insert the ribbon cable with the clip in "closed" position, but is so hard that they doesnt inserts it completly in the connector (and this creates an intermitent electrical connection)
This is even easyer to fix
