I need help with Install All Packages error 8002AE32

4.82 OFW using PS3Xploit HAN

I'm trying to use Package Manager -> Install Package Files -> highlight Standard -> Press Triangle -> Install All Packages. each pkg is retail dlc with the long random name scheme, I can install them manually one at a time but when you're dealing with around 300+ of these little unlock character, unlock costume, 100kb type of pkg's it gets to be a real hassle.

What I've tried so far is a complete shutdown of the ps3, doing a cold boot and immediately going into package manager and trying to install. error 8002AE32. enabling HAN and then trying package manager again. error 8002AE32. I've even tried cold booting and using one of the other user profiles on the ps3 before trying to install, resulted in error 8002AE32 again.

Now I've done some research using google and apparently this IS a known issue for CFW users, apparently they found out that if you QA Flag then it'll get past this error and allow the installs.

So the questions are how do we QA Flag on 4.82 OFW that is using PS3Xploit HAN? or how do we get around this error for OFW users? Is there another pkg installer that can be installed for PS3Xploit HAN users that will get around this issue? any type of solution that will allow multiple .pkg's to be installed at one time?

no, didn't resign since they are retail dlc's, like I mentioned in my main message they're basically the unlock character, unlock costume type of dlc's that quite a few games have. Plus if I really do have to resign them then doing those one at a time is going to be just as bad as installing them individually(which does work, already tested that but it's super tedious to do).

I'm all for combining them into one pkg but I have no idea if it's possible to take multiple .pkg's and combine them into one .pkg as that opens the can of worms of 'do they need to be extracted first then recreated as a single .pkg?' 'is there a tool or script of some kind that will combine multiple .pkg's into a single .pkg?'. Fun times!

best way is to find a pkg that unlock all dlc. Just like what i did to naruto ultimate ninja storm revolution. I found a dlc fix pkg resign it and install it to my ps3. Don't know if it works for every game though.

@pink1 I suppose a tool for batch signing could come in handy sometime, I think what I'm really looking for now is a way to combine multiple pkg's into a single pkg as that would be really useful for fighting games in particular with all the dlc costumes, character unlocks, and etc.,.

Only idea I have for going about combining pkg's is for all the pkg's to be for the same game so it uses and installs to the same folder structure. Not sure if that'd actually matter, guess it would depend on how a tool was written.

Yeah they would all have to be installed in the same folder that's how the packages work.
Combining pkg's shouldn't be hard but I'm not working on anything like that so I don't have any code for that around. The rap creator and batch signer I just happened to already have most of.

Hi

Did you find a solution to install many .pkg at the same time? or maybe combine many .pkg into one?
i have the same problem :(

I ended up giving up on it. Plenty of other games in my backlog from having a PS+ subscription and of course taking advantage of sales through the years. Then to top it all off I've been dealing with more doctor appointments lately for a head wound that keeps trying to open back up, don't currently have the time to struggle through trying to find a solution.

I know that it's been years, but in 2024 on the newest Evilnat CFW I was still having this problem and I wanted to let everyone know that there are 2 ways that resolve it almost instantly.

#1 is to install the Rebug Toolkit and enable QA Flags. Then run "Install all Packages" and it will work.

#2 is if you're using Evilnat CFW, which is to go to the Custom Firmware Tools folder, then scroll down a few icons until you see the QA icon. Choose it and on the next screen, scroll and choose QA Flags (advance). Then run "Install all Packages" and it will work.

Does pex cfw not work with this? I'm pretty sure install all packages is a debug option, always has been. Qa flagging enables debug options from menu 1 iirc.
