PS2 I need with POPS installation for MX4SIO (aside from BDM Assault)

I know the rules on the files to paste for the BDM Assault part of the PS1 games installation for the MX4SIO.

But I'm a bit confused on the file placements of the PS1 games inside the folders.

Maybe the file folder formats were somewhat older than what I expected to use (like the ways of OPL 0.9 which I dunno how). I kinda need you help on this.

I'm using a SCPH-30005R.
OPL Latest version 2221, along those builds.

Any tips?

Here is the scheme:

In short your games (VCD) need to be in POPS folder in the root of your device.
Additionally POPS_IOX.PAK also needs to be in this folder.

e.g.
MX4SIO:/POPS/Vikings_2.VCD
MX4SIO:/POPS/XX.Vikings_2.ELF (it is important to add "XX." prefix)
MX4SIO:/POPS/POPS_IOX.PAK

To launch ELF (XX.Vikings_2.ELF) use wLaunchELF v4.43x_isr with MX4SIO and exFAT support:

Or just use wLE_kHn_20191110 (it comes with POPStarter_20190605.7z archive) from here:

Here is a tutorial how to replace the driver for wLe:

Just looking at this, it seemed kinda tricky if you'll be able to detect those ps1 games, even without adding the ELF shortcuts on MX4's APPS Tab.

Which step is tricky?
There is no MX4SIO APPS Tab.

Just place all the files in the POPS folder.

In other words create POPS folder in the root of your device.
Next thing to do is to copy "POPS_IOX.PAK" there. (.\POPS\POPS_IOX.PAK)
Copy your game (e.g. "Doom.VCD") also there. (.POPS\Doom.VCD)
In the archive "POPStarter_20190605.7z" there is a file called "POPSTARTER.ELF" (POPStarter_20190605\POPSTARTER.ELF).
Copy it also to the POPS folder (.POPS\POPSTARTER.ELF).

If a game is called "Doom.VCD" rename "POPSTARTER.ELF" to "XX.Doom.ELF".

Launch it ("XX.Doom.ELF") with wLaunchELF which has MX4SIO support.
E.g. this one: https://israpps.github.io/projects/wlaunchelf-isr.
