IDPS change on boot

I had recently attempted to permanently adjust my IDPS (instead of using Rebug toolkit) to boot with CEX in place by using Webman, changing and saving the characters accordingly(82 to 84). After doing so, I had to reinstall D-Rex but noticed that the change to 84 stayed, allowing me to sign in to PSN right after boot; resaving a change in the Webman settings seems to have changed it back to 82.

How would i go about properly changing the IDPS to adjust at boot without having to use toolkit every time/reinstall the firmware because I'm incompetent?

It is not possible. DEX fw will not work on CEX TID. If You force that change You will get... perm brick. ;)

Use spoofing IDPS. Maybe it will work, I dunno, never need it, never test it.

Out of curiosity then, do you know where I screwed up successfully when booting into 4.84 D-REX but had PSN access? Furthermore, and atleast from what i understand, the Webman IDPS adjustment only occurs in memory, mitigating a full flash issue(?)
