PS3 If i use CFW2OFW method in 2021, am I at risk of having my PSN ACCOUNT or my PS3 banned?

I bought a refurbished console that came with around 40 digital games. I bought it not for the games, but for the console itself since the local selling it seemed to be trustworthy. Not knowing absolutely anything about hacks and stuff, i thought to myself "great then. i have some good games to play after i have gone through the ones i initially was inttending to".
I connected my psn account to the console, played assassin creed brotherhood online (assassins creed brotherhood is a game i bought legitimately), and synced some of it's online trophies. I also opened some of the games that came with the console (the pirated ones), but i played to them for less than 30 minutes, did not sync any of their trophies, and i did not play to the online of any of them.
So, is the risk of me being banned already there? Supposing it its, what is exactly in danger? My ps3 or my psn account?
I'm a trophy hunter, and although i do not have an enourmous ammount of them, i do have my really difficult ammount of achieved platinums in my account (at least really difficult taking into account the ammount of time i can dedicate to enjoy videogames), so you can already imagine how depressed i would feel if the one who is in danger is my psn account and not my ps3...
Hopefully someone replies

you probably won't be banned for that, but do note that if you do get banned for something, both the system and the account are likely to be banned, so all those trophies will be gone. never use your main account with any exploited system if you care about its content, trophies, etc.

thanks for replying! and well, that is very sad to know, since i have already played online and got the online trophies of a physical game i bought in that console with injected games. Wether i keep playing online or not in that ps3, the ban risk will remain the same, right?

you won't be banned for playing offline, but if you're going to sync trophies, there's a risk since you're connecting to psn. I kinda got interested in trophies a few months ago (back in April), so I bought a superslim and was going to go completely legit without the fear of possibly getting banned one day. however, that didn't work out due to issues with the ps store. I probably won't be buying a ps5 due to issues seemingly with my account. I think that's why I couldn't buy anything without "an error has occurred" and no error code. anyway, I understand the desire for trophies, since it's something that kinda carries over with each new system, unlike the games and sometimes saves.

i understand. so in coclusion, the best thing for me to do is to buy other ps3 being that one completly safe and ofw so that i wont be risking nor my ps3 nor my psn account to get banned.
Can i, instead of buying another ps3, copy the data of assassins creed brotherhood (the game i bought legitely), then format to fabric version the ps3 i have right now and then connect to my psn account normally? or is it completly neccesary for me to change the console i have now for other or to change my console's private id for other? If i do any of the steps mentioned, will ALL the risks of me getting banned be gone even though i have played the online mode of a legitimately bought game in a ps3 with injected games?

yes, never use your main account on an exploited system or really any account where you're afraid of losing purchases. trophies, etc. I made the mistake of using the same account on all my systems, so when the account was banned, it affected all of them.

Yes, you can install everything from scratch to avoid being banned, but remember that the ban, sometimes, isn't imediate. So even changing to a not exploited system, you can be banned for things you did online on the last weeks, on a exploited console.

i see. i will then format my console to fabric version and will not use any method such as cf2ofw, hen, han or cfw. Hopefully my account wont be banned... damn

as you have seen in my previous comment ive decided not to hack my ps3 and hope that i wont be banned by restoring my ps3 to fabric version and saving the game data of assassins creed brotherhood which is the i bought legitametly so that after reboot it is not lost. in any way, im interested about what happend to you. your account was banned, wasn't it? what type of hack had you used that got you banned? how much time passed until you got banned?

Yeah, I think you will not be banned... :D
But to be sure, it's better to wait a month or two to start to buy things again. @pinky do you know how long your ban happened after being spotted? I was banned on my old PS3 with 3 weeks after being spoted trying to load a JB game without remove syscalls on old Rogero CFW, I was pretty noob, because I remember when I loaded the game and remembered that was too late :(. I've got a new IDPS from a friend to use with the old PS3, and I also bought a completely new and unexploited PS3 to keep my "online" content.

There is no ban risk when using a clean OFW installation, as far as we know, it does not matter if you had CFW on the same machine before, except of course if you applied other system mods like idps spoofing etc.. when on CFW.
On OFW, you should use the genuine console idps whenever possible, avoid spoofing, it's a ban risk in itself unless you extracted it yourself from a dead console (same model is safest).

FYI
Just in case you might be interested.
An alternative to choosing between CFW, HEN, HAN or pure OFW is to use 2 different internal hdds to swap (one for OFW & one for CFW for instance) as well as a software flasher (like the one in PS3 Toolset) to replace CoreOS in the Flash memory.
It's quite trivial a setup tbph & it gives all the flexibility one may need to go from one setup to the next in about 5mn.

@jcorrea , I don't know for sure, but I think it was 7-10 days. both bits and I got our ban email on the same day. I do remember that. he got banned after using crunchyroll. me, I'm not sure, but I became paranoid about it, so I kept signing in every day to see if I was banned, and then bam, the "this system has been suspended from psn services" message.

Guys, my friend who was also tying to get ps3 games and dlcs via backup (cfw2ofw) got an idea which I would like to share to see if it makes sense or not. I already explained him the risks of getting banned and stuff, but still he does not give up.
He said that maybe we could put games or dlcs into a secondary psn account. after doing that, he would only have to activate this secondary psn account as the main one of the ps3. then he would play to the online mode of the games installed in the secondary psn account (which would be activated as the main one of the ps3) with his primary account (which would be Deactivated as the main of the ps3) to get all the trophies synched in his primary account. Therefore, if playstation bans him, the things banned would be the secondary psn account (not the primary which has all the trophies), and the ps3, which could be unbanned by changing the hdd or the console id.
What do you think of all what he said here?
