USB port are burned, I wonder if there is any way to install han by cd or pc. I have already been able to install firmware via CD. now I need to install han and I'm not getting it.Thank you
 
Both ports are "dead"?
Theoretically HAN is for OFW 4.82 & HFW 4.82.2.

If you still didn't send it to repair, it's possible to install HAN with a CD, but it's harder. I remembered having seen this thread and a person asked me if it was possible to install HFW on the PS3 without USB ports working. But I didn't know where this was, so I asked DeViL303 on PSX-Place's Discord channel. This is what he said about the part of installing HAN with a CD:
"then you might need to modify source of exploit slightly to read HAN Support files off cd too, not hard though i would say".

Just in case another person comes here to know how to do it from scratch. From DeViL303:
"put it [the PUP update file] on cd or dvd, in correct folder, check on wiki, should work

well the people who created the HFW can theoretically pre-inject the han_supportfiles on the pup. skipping the installation step.

I dont know how they did it, but I assume they extract the firmware, mix some files from 4.82 to 4.84 and repack it.

That is not possible unfortunately, no custom files possible. There might be a way to use a pkg to install the han files though.
 
Will I be able to unlock CFW for cd/dvd without HAN?
I saw that there is an option write flash for HDD, can I use the same without USB ?. My ps3 is synchronizing the control, it does not load pen drive because it has some broken track in the USB and no technical meeting in my city that can carry out maintenance.

You can Xploit , an dinstall CFW on a console without a USB port AFAIK.

You would NOT be able to check your dump after patching, so there would be a little bit of added risk there, normally people have a chance to save the console from a bad flash by dumping it after and checking it. You would not be able to do that, so its up to you if you want to take that risk.

Also you will have to burn a DVD with 4.84 HFW on it (in correct folder structure), And also burn a DVD with your CFW on it . It will be a little tricky, but doable afaik.

I managed to solve the problem of my USB, I discovered that I was running low on the USB, I connected my an external hdd on the ps3 and a double USB cable on the notebook to provide power to the USB. Made HAN unlock. Thank you all
