Hey guys, having a problem with a CECHB console

Took it to 2 local repair guys, they claim power rail itself is good and that either rsx is causing short or scratched cell after delid, though previous owner told me it worked fine like that with solder mask on the scratch

Anyway scratched CELL or dead RSX would most certainly give me a 3034 error, but it's not

I'm really stuck here, don't wanna spend 40-50$ on chip replacement just to find out the issue is something else

Some guy here posted that replacing tokins for RSX hepled but i still can't see how toking can get 12V to short concidering they just filter ~1.3V

12V thick pins on motherboard are not shorted
PSU replacement didn't work
Console shuts down immediately after powering on, fan not even trying to spin

Reallly wanna fix this one since i have a box for it and overall it's a rare unit

Any ideas here?

IF ya ohm the main glug out whats its reading i had one that even though the RSX points to test where about right it dragged that main rail to PSU fully down to like 400 or 600 ohms or something on most working ones its 1500+ if i remember right if it aint there is something draging it down remember that 12volt plug is connecto to all the bucks and such so if something is wrong there it will drag that main rail down that is my experience anyways.....

Also if on syscon and ya bring up it says PowerSEQ Fail or what????

5 kOhm on 12V pins, seems fine to me
I'll check syscon later, don't have the console on hands right now

Seems high or soemthing myn all working boards on final check are like 1.5 or 1.6 kOhm anyways jsut seen units under 800 Ohms and there is defintly something up 5kOhm never seen that high one before but not sure dont mean its wrong haha :)

Well i guess i found the problem, will try to fix it now, hope it works

Yep, after fixing it console starts, but turns out it has GLOD, SB log verified RSX driver timeout so gonna frankie mod it with 40nm chip
