I just started doing the process of installing alternate firmware onto my ps3. Heard from many that HFW/HAN isnt as great or as exploitable as CFW with multiman, and that multiman is only able to be downloaded onto CFW. So with that in mind i see some things here and there saying that i could install CFW after installing HFW or that i can downgrade my ps3 after installing HFW but im getting iffy answers here and there so if anybody could, please give me a clear confirmation if i can go from HFW/HAN to CFW with multiman, OR downgrade my ps3.

Need more info. What is your ps3 model?
If your using HAN I assume you have a late slim or super slim.

HAN was the old way of exploiting these models, allowing to play backup content.
HEN is the current preffered exploit as it allows for launching homebrew (such as multiman, webman, retroarch etc)

If you have a fat or early slim then you can use ps3xploit to patch your firmware allowing for CFW to be installed.

Its all dependant on your model really...

Thanks for telling me about HEN, and giving me confirmation. My model is a slim (CECH2101a) so i guess it should be fine.
