PS2 Is POPS best PS1 emulator on PS2?

Hi,
im using pops on my opl, and it does emulate ps1 games but it doesnt emulate the best it should be, there are many games that are not working great like these games:
-world soccer winning eleven 3 (frame drop during gameplay)
-driver (messed up graphics, and black screen on some game mods)

im using PS2Netbox with an SSD that makes ps2 games work great with no lagging or frame dropping, but on that same SSD (using pops) ps1 games doesnt seem to take the benefit of the SSD,
so im wondering, is it pops the problem or maybe its my ps2 slim not able to operate ps1 games properly?

It is emulator for platform with only 32MiB of RAM and with CPU around 300MHz. What did You expecting? ;p Some games works ok, some horrible. Some looks ok, some ugly. Depend of many factors.

Be sure to use clean POPS and last POPStarter.

There is also not official PSX emu, called PS2PSXe.

BTW: Wrong forum category. PSX emulators have nothing to do with OPL.
