Hello friends,
I have to repair a KEM 450 Disc drive for my PS3 slim. The issue is that when it pulls the Disc in, it "tries" to read it but the clock just keeps spinning. Then you can hear the Disc drive trying to eject the Disc and the clock stops. Ejecting works normally.
When I opened it up it seemed okay. But if I look further the laser mechanical part is somewhat tilted. It's not a thing I found normal. My question is if that's normal or not? And if no how can I make it straight again?
The backstory to the drive is that when the seller moved out, something heavy had been put on top of the PS3. Making it not read disc's anymore
Thanks for helping
