PS3 Is there a way to check the state of my PS3 game backups?

Hello. As the title says, I need to check if my games are good. That because I haved some problems with my external NTFS and chkdsk move every backup to a folder named found.000.

I managed to save the isos, and copy them to a new PS3iso folder, but I don't have a tv now to try playing them normally.

Is there a tool like usbutil in PS2 to check the state of my games? I don't want to lose my games :c I have a damaged lens and I can't backup them again

Thx.

You can check that each file inside the ISO isn't corrupted by using PS3-ISO-Rebuilder. Get the program from here: http://jonnysp.bplaced.net/ and find an IRD file which matches both the disc and game version of your backups. Then, inside the program, load both the IRD and your ISO. The program should tell you which files are different/corrupted, which files are missing, and which files are ok. If all files are green with the exception of a missing PS3UPDAT.pup, you should be fine.

It's all on the website I linked. Just use the search box. If you can't find an ird you need, I might be able to help you out.

Edit: By the way, loading the ISO into PS3-ISO-Rebuilder first will tell you the disc and game version of the IRD you want. Also keep in mind that IRDs aren't always perfect, and you might get false negatives.

If your backups are on the PS3 itself, you can use Managunz. The backup should appear in Managunz's PS3 column, press Triangle and search for an option related to IRD Checks. The app will then automatically get the correct IRD for your backup's region and version, and begin verifying the game files. After it's done, it will export a report with information about all the game's files.
