PS3 natively supports a USB keyboard for navigating the XMB, but you are not going to be able to play every game with it. Only select games support it. What exactly are you trying to ask in detail?

I tried to use a usb keyboard to play MSX games with BlueMSX core (Metal Gear and Athletic Land) in Retroarch 1.76 (I think) and it didn't work last time I checked (last year).

I agree it would be really useful to have keyboard support in Retroarch on the PS3. Can get away with it for some cores, but for C64, Amiga, ST etc it's pretty useful to have the physical keyboard.
