Issue using ps3xploit on launch A01

I'm also having the same exact issue @nCadeRegal, my PS3 is also the original CECHA01 model i can't load BGtoolset for more than afew seconds without it freezing. I followed MrMario tutorial step by step and tried restoring the PS3 twice, rebuild database and restore default settings on safe mode...nothing seemed to work.
 
Unfortunately this ps3 that I was having the issue with ylod on me a week later. Until I can get it fixed I can't help with this issue. I have another low mileage a01 that worked flawlessly with the online tool set. @bguerville did say he would help with the issue but that it would take some time with testing and direct communication would have to be possible. I don't know that he is still up for that bit you could ask if it is something you are willing to do.
 
I'm willing to set aside some time if @bguerville is willing. It would be great to resolve this issue for community members that run into a similar problem, even if it is a rare occurrence with older models.

Here is my entire situation:

My ps3 is freezing when loading BGtoolset and dumper tools, I have the original BC 60GB model CECHA01 which should be a CFW compatible console it's currently on OFW 4.87. The console started on 4.82, I tried hybrid FW 4.82 tutorial by MrMario but most tools were obsolete or wasn't working ps3xploit dumper/writer crashed when i open them as well.

I've followed every YouTube tutorial (MrMario2011 and others) step by step. I've tried deleting cookies, search history, cache and authentication info each time when pulling up the flasher and even wiping ps3 clean several times to start from a blank slate. I tried HFW several times on 4.82-4.87 (yes i updated OFW after reseting console from safe mode each time 4.82-84) and that isn't working either.



This is where the console freezes for me it takes 2-3 seconds each time sometimes it freezes second line and gives an error indication rarely.

i'm gonna mention @bguerville again because i tried to edit the above post and i now i remember that will mess up mentions...

i couldn't get the image to show but i guess it because of the hosting site
