PS3 Issues trying to play xenosga on ps3 hen superslim

Hello, i've recently been trying to play the Xenosaga triology after many hours i managed the way to rip the games and make it work for hen, but i have issues with all three games being Xenosaga I the worst. When i try to play the first game just gives me a blackscreen with a minimap at the bottom right after selecting new game, i can go through the pause menu but nothing else, i think it has something to do with the config file or the ripping process of ps2 manager but i tried using different config files and always is the same result, anyone knows what the problem could be? For the other two games they work just fine it's only the changing the disc part, i dont know how to do a disc change while the other disc is running. If anyone knows a solution to any of my issues i will be thankful for the rest of my life, i've been struggling for so many days with this...

I played parts 2 and 3 on a slim without much trouble. It was a few years back so I don't remember all the particulars, but I do remember ripping the images on a windows pc first and encrypting them. Whatever the tool was, I did apply patches, but those were available in the tool itself, I just had to check a box to make sure they got applied.

After that, I used ps2 classics to mount the image and boot the games is my ps3. Worked pretty flawlessly.

The hardest part was the disc swap. That took a few steps, but at a high level, I saved right before a disc swap, exported the save to an sd card, loaded the save into RPCS2, loaded the save, did the disc swap, then saved the game again. After that I imported the save back into my ps3 and resumed the game there.

The whole save export/import was a huge PITA, but I believe the apollo save tool can do all the encryption /export/decryption for you now. That would save a ton of work.
