PS3 jailbreaking PS3 PHAT 60gb cant play ps1 or ps2 iso

i have tried jailbreaking the ps3 phat 60gb to play ps 1,2 and 3 games from iso on the hdd.

but so far it wont play backup games i have followed mrmario2011 guide to jailbreaking.




and the only firmware and hombrew i have instaled, is what was on the guide. and i have installed CFW 4.88.2 Evilnat Cobra 8.3 and multiman 04.85.01 base (20191010.pkg.
i have tried to play burned games. but the ps3 will not run ps1 or ps2 burned games. i just get the error code that its a copy. and when i try network transfer or usb i can transfer games and it will show on multiman. and also i can mount the games when i try to run the game the ps2 logo shows and after a few seconds you can se a little white line in upper left corner and then the screen turns black and the ps3 resets and i get an error code 80028f17 i have a video

anyone know what to do?

it will play original games ps1,ps2 and ps3 games just not from iso or burned games.

when i put in original ps3 game disc it does not show on multiman. (edit) i found out i have to start multiman before i put in the disc...
 
i think i have found out why i have goten trouble playing my ps1 and ps2 backup's. is it because i have made backups trough my pc? instead of using multiman?

  2. i figured it out i hve to start multiman before i put in game disc's


when i try to make backup of ps1 games on multiman the download is on 0.67mb/S and it just frezzes on 40% i am trying an original ps1 game The bugs life. anyone had the same problem?
 
i have succesfully launched ps2 backups and ps3 backups ups but i cant get the ps1 backup to work got an error code

Do you have both the .bin and .cue file in your psxiso folder? If so, you may want to consider downloading another copy of it and starting over.

its possible that my backups have become corupted. and i had to use imgburn to convert the ps1 game to ISO file. so im not even sure the game works. and when i try to use multiman to rip the game, it just frezes on 40%

Ahh there's your problem, ps1 games need to be in .bin + .cue format... Try downloading from another source or converting the game to .bin/.cue format

thank you:chuncky: now finally i can play some games. what has happened is that i have first problem was that i had to start multiman before putting game cd's inn. or else the game won't show. and the second problem was that i put games inn folders inside game folders so that don't work. and finally that i dont need to convert ps1 games to iso :D and i probably fixed a few things by accident. thank you for helping pointing out what i did wrong :D
