Hi, i exploit my ps3 for the first time last night with this method and installed, on rebug website it says that 4.82.1 is the latest version, is it possible for me to update to this version? and if it is do i just download the firmware from the website and update just like the regular way by putting the firmware file on my pendrive folder PS3/UPDATE ?

Yes, and you need to rename the pup to PS3UPDAT.PUP (same name as ofw) ;)

Yes, that's the one.
You will actually first download a txt file, the actual link is inside that ;)

do i have to run sen enabler again after updating firmware? or that wont get affected by the update?

Edit: i just update my console and ran it again just in case the hole sen enable process but the part of enable sen cause it was already enable, what i did was to delete history and disable syscalls again, one more question, do u know if theres a way to use a native ftp server on this firmware? cause right now the way im using to ftp into my console is by opening multiMAN, but id like to know if theres a way to enable ftp as soon as the console boot up without having to open any application at all

yes, webman mod will allow ftp from the xmb. it's what I always use. you can even have it mount dev_blind at startup as well.

Guys this is is completely off topic...
Please @bitsbubba, can you move these last posts to a place they actually belong.. Am not near a PC right now... ;)

I figured it was off topic. however, when someone makes a help post, and I know the answer, it's really difficult not to reply with the answer. my apologies.

possibly with the category_game.xml. that's the file that makes install packages appear. it's here: dev_blind/vsh/resource/explore/xmb. rebug has the hdd as an install location. btw, you can send the package to that folder with an ethernet cable. it's must faster than usb.

I though those CFWs that still have the install packages option did that automatically, package manager is so much better

unknown. it might be under og. I don't have an update pup on my laptop, but I believe that's a download location. I think it's the official one used by sony too.

oh no i can easily install pkg from my console thats not the issue here, let me explain u what im doing atm and what i want to do, right now everytime i download a game pkg from ***PlayStation Store*** i have to install it and activate it using reactpsn, the thing is that reactpsn only read the exdata folder from the usb drive, so in order for me to not use the usb i have to use webman option to redirect usb000 to hd0/packedges folder, but everytime i reboot the console it gets back to normal, so what i want is this change to stay permanent instead of having to run it everytime im going to activate a game :-(
