WebMAN LaunchPad (webMAN MOD Add-On -Unofficial)

PS3 LaunchPad (Unofficial addon for webMAN MOD) v0.17

I think that must have been a difference between some older version and 1.45.04 and 1.45.05, It doesn't look like there is any difference in the fan control of 1.45.05 and 1.45.04, But like I said, if people have freezes they can update to your 1.45.05, even if they update to normal 1.45.05, Launchpad will keep working with their current xml.

Only that I not can make the Launchpad show the custom covers of RetroArch :grumpy:

That you would have to do by disabling Launchpad xml generation in webman setup, and manually editing your wm_launchpad.xml to point to the icons OR I think another way is to put images in the same folder as your ROMs with the same name and let webman scan and generate it again. I haven't tried it myself though.

I have tried to leave the covers with the same names of the games in the ROMS folder, but they are only shown in the webMAN. I wonder if the webMAN can recognize another folder in the external HD that is not the name ROMS?
I Need to keep two folders with name of ROMS on the external HD, but the Windows does not accept, it wants to do folders replacement

Looks like you are out of luck then, the only way I know of is for you to add your cover paths manually, have a look at the file dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_launchpad.xml and you should be able to figure it out by looking at the other entries.

* There is no longer official support for Launchpad xml generation in webMAN MOD, so new xml generation features will not get added to the Launchpad view anymore. This doesn't mean you wont get new features, it just means from now on new webMAN features will ONLY get added to the normal XMB view and Launchpad will not change.

I made a copy of wm_launchpad.xml and i realized that this is the way of the cover of a game <url type = "2"> http://xmbmods.co/wmlp/covers/BLES01717.JPG
For the cover be shown, which is on the external HD,i need change the path for Which way?
I would like an example of redirection :chuncky:

Yes that's it, To add a local cover you need to format the link like this:
Code:
<url type="2">http://127.0.0.1/dev_xxxx/PATH/TO/IMAGE/HERE/IMAGE.xxx</url>

You can use jpg or png files.

Don't forget to disable the Launchpad xml in webMAN setup, or your changes will get over written ;)

Thanks you for the way :)
I have several games without covers, now I'll be able to fix them, especially the PS2 games

DeViL303 updated WebMAN LaunchPad (webMAN MOD Add-On) with a new update entry:

WebMAN Launchpad v0.17
  • This version is for Rebug 4.81 ONLY.
  • If you are on other 4.81 CFW or Rebug 4.80.1 you should continue to use v0.16, there is no difference except Rebug 4.81 support in this release.
  • webMAN MOD no longer supports Launchpad by default so you can use THIS UP to DATE 1.45.05 package, Make sure to install the FULL version (Thank you @kozarovv for compiling...

Cheers, Please let us know how it works out for you.

In the case, do I need to update to this new version?
Have you made other corrections regarding the beta?:confused3:

Edit: I'll also have to create the empty folder in dev_flash?

You should update yes, the differences between the beta and final are small, just some system icons were more compressed in the beta, so its not really a big deal.

It's working fine the version that passed for me, I did not have any freezes.
Should I just create the empty folder in dev_flash if I use the webman compiled by kozarovv?

No you wont need to make that folder, that is only for users NOT on Rebug, Rebug already has that folder. If its working fine you can just leave it the way it is.

I understood now,I was kind of confused about it :watermelon:
I would like to know if XMBPD 0.63 can works on Rebug 4.81? I read something that the Ferrox files could work? :dejection:
I would also like to know if only the XMBM + can also work?:cower:

Yeah you can install XMBM+ on Rebug, for XMBPD, check your PM. ;)

The Ferrox files will only work on Habib. if you use them on Rebug you will lose CFW settings.
