For some reason when I was searching the bin for the original string I wasn't finding it, I was looking for hex string not text string. Its possible I mixed up files or something. Anyway, will do some testing and maybe release it in a little while.

Is HxD problem. You sometime need to search with spaces between bytes or it will not find anything. To be honest i had this only 2 times, second was today..

Oh right, I am using HxD. Thought I was going mad earlier. I did it exactly as I usually do, typed both the hashes out into notepad, triple checked them, then copied it, went to search, pasted and couldn't find anything..now when I copy the exact same string from the same notepad file I can find it. :)
 
Hmmm... I never had this problem with Hxd, not one single time & I have been using the tool for years...

This time round, I copied the hex values from the hashcalc DOS cmd prompt output & pasted it in the search box... No spaces added of course...

WebMAN Launchpad v0.14
  • Support added for Ferrox 4.81 CFW. So this v0.14 installer now supports Rebug 4.80.1 REX and Ferrox 4.81 v1.00 Cobra)
  • Installing this on Ferrox 4.81 v1.00 will make all icons blue.(If installed on Rebug 4.80 the icons will not change)
  • When you install this on Ferrox it will add support for XMBM+/XMBPD as an added bonus. :)
  • Added Translations for the "Launching" string in 7 languages.
  • Changed Launchpad sprx files so they now call custom title entries in the RCOs and also it now has a custom icon filename, this will make it easier to toggle the Launchpad should the need arise, as the original icon and titles will still be in place, so the RCOs wont need swapping.
  • Added the new custom entries in the RCOs to the bottom of the text files for Launchpad, so it matches the mod above, this will make it easier to translate in the future.
  • Fixed missing Launchpad title on in-game XMB.
  • Changed title so it has a lowercase "w" to match "webMAN Games".
  • Added a new warning to the installer that basically says to make sure you install the right version for your CFW, and to use it at your own risk.

WebMAN Launchpad v0.15
  • Support added for Playerpk420's 4.81 v1.00 Cobra CFW.
  • So this v0.15 installer now supports Rebug 4.80.1 REX , Ferrox 4.81 v1.00 Cobra, and Playerpk420's 4.81 v1.00 Cobra.
  • If installed on Playerpk420's 4.81 Cobra CFW it will fix the missing icons on the in-game XMB.(See cfw settings)
  • If you ONLY use the option to uninstall on Playerpk420's 4.81 Cobra CFW it will fix the missing icons too.
  • If installed or uninstalled on any of the supported CFW's it will add support for XMBM+/XMBPD.
  • As usual it requires webMAN Mod (1.45.02 or higher recommended).
  • Users of v0.14 on other CFW's don't need to update, only new CFW support added.

@DeViL303 i made some changes.

1.) Added the webMAn Launchpad to the Resourses Section of the site with some mirrors (download button)
2.) Took the webMAN v0.10 thread and re titled it : WebMAN LaunchPad ( A XMB MOD addon for webMAN MOD) then since its linked to the resources now this thread there is the extra information at top of every page of this thread now. Then also at the end the current version number will display in the title as seen in the top (v0.15)
3.) You have the ability to "post resource" update: (it will auto post here the update also).

I had multiples problems last times and lost a part of my files :(
I made again an other one (basic) working for 486x405 is OK

An update for this webMAN Mod addon: If you don't know what Launchpad is its a different GUI for mounting/unmounting your webMAN games and accessing webMAN Setup, It use a modified version of the "Whats New" XMB item, So when you install this you will lose that "Feature", But you will gain an even better one. ;)

Did you get sorted?

I have tested installing and uninstalling this on SPY 4.81 Cobra multiple times over the past few days and I have not had any issue like that even once.

I have been installing this on all 6 CFWs and not had an issue like that once.

I am not sure what to do, since your post i have retested this again and again and its still all 100% working fine for me.

Did you read the warning in the installer and did you install the correct version for your Firmware?

It is IMPORTANT you choose the correct CFW version when installing.

I think it must be something else on your system or you chose the WRONG version when installing, try with a clean install of SPY 4.81 Cobra, it works fine here.

EDIT: Seems this will cause a soft brick (easily recoverable) on the polish version of SPY, see below.

Sorry, I forgot to add that I have the full version Polish (full Polish language CFW) about MD5: 2180ee4529e5c6816a70e4af5a4824ab can be good for your version of MD5: 6b89278e93cf56b5d31dead049e01cd1. Could you tell me how to convert this version, what do I have?

So your FW is modified..i see. If that is the case I will remove my warnings for ALL spy users and just mention that it only supports the standard versions of the CFWs I mentioned.

I have no idea what would be required to get this working on a firmware I have never tried. Sorry. I might be able to help you if I know the exact mods done on your FW?

What files are modified in your firmware to make it "full polish"?... For example you might need to modify the xmls, rcos, sprx files and the stage2.bin in Launchpad to get it to work, so it might mean redoing EVERY file, but maybe it is just 1 file that you need to change, I don't know.


NOTE FOR ALL: I have only tested this on unmodified versions of the above mentioned CFWs, I can not support heavily modified versions in the installer as each FW needs its own set of files and its too much work and makes the pkg too big, its already at 60MB and almost 200 files..So use this at your own risk, especially if you are NOT using one of the supported firmwares (unmodified).

Sorry but no. I always stick to Rebug as it's always well tested, everything always working on it and has many key features which other CFWs will never get. Spy only visiting one, closed forum which many times was hacked - I have no trust in this site anymore, especially that is bloated by tons of js needed to correctly displaying forum. So I cannot even read about changes etc. without unlocking it and log in.

BTW: I don't even see a reason why peoples installing 4.81, what's the point of that (maybe online playing? I don't like playing online)? ^^
