PS4 Looking for Advice on How to Join the PlayStation Development Ecosystem

Hi everyone,
I want to start by expressing my gratitude to all who share their insights here. I've been learning a lot and have great admiration for the work being done by developers within the PlayStation ecosystem.
I'm a developer, but not a game developer, with a few years of experience, and I'm very interested in integrating into the PlayStation development environment. I currently own a PS4 Test Kit but feel a bit unsure about how to best utilize it to enhance my learning or contribute to the ecosystem.
If someone with more experience could provide guidance on the next steps, whether publicly or privately, I would greatly appreciate it. I understand some details may be sensitive, and I'm committed to respecting any limitations.
My main goal is to learn and, in the future, contribute to the PlayStation community.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!

I would look into openorbis or orbisdev. those seem to be the two most popular ps4 sdks. I'm not a dev, but I have some experience compiling stuff with both. I'd try your hand at the samples. there's a precompiled openorbis, to mess around with, on the ps4dev toolchain page iirc, not sure about orbisdev though.
