Low Temp High Dynamic Fan Speed?

Is it normal for the fan to pick up fast for no reason and then drop back down in a minute or so?

I'm using webman mod, I heard the fan picking up with PS3 games. Its only about 58-67C and the fan will get up to 50% speed for maybe 1 minute then return back down.

Is this this normal?

Another random question, when powering on is the light suppose to flash yellow 1 time before booting normal?

The flashing yellow light is added by wMM to signify content scanning, if I'm not mistaken.

Is it normal?
Yes & no.
It's a classic problem with your specific console model, something is different on cechl consoles & triggers this issue with the webman fan implementation.
It has been discussed in numerous threads already, some very recently.
I suggest you browse through the forum for more details.

There is also a new experimental way to tweak the fan without extra software like webMAN-MOD. It's a syscon mod & I think it should work on cechl (TBC).
I am not recommending that you use it though, it is EXPERIMENTAL, I am only providing you with information.
