Hi everyone.
Would it be useful to have the PS3 and others with outdated browsers access newer websites? With my proxy server app I've so far managed to access PSX-Place on the PS3 (RPCS3 for now), DuckDuckGo, old Reddit, Wikipedia, and others. Is this useful for anyone?
Example with PSX-Place on the browser:
About the HTTP part, it's still safe - it's just HTTP between the PS3 and the proxy app on the local network (so it's not public). From the proxy to the world it's in HTTPS. All still safe.
(And btw, if there's anything else I could try to do, anyone say something. After 6 years I'm finally updating the app to probably v3.0... I'm also adding possibility of hosting a PUP for the PS3 to update to it, for example)
