PS3HEN ManaGunZ v1.35 for HEN + PS2 emu fix

I noticed that ManaGunZ have very annoying issue on HEN that later is hard to "diagnose" why this happened. So. ManaGunZ have cool feature to patch ps2 emulator to support configs, etc. But this feature work also on HEN, when user mount ps2 iso ManaGunZ do auto patching ps2_netemu. New user usually first run ps2 iso, then trying to search why is not working. Ok, ps2 ISO not work on HEN. Then she/he try pkg ps2, but had no idea that emu was actually patched, and there is no chance to run ps2 even from pkg now. So i recompiled ManaGunZ without PS2 emu patching function, and without config support.

ManaGunZ
There are no other changes than that, only ps2 emulator patching is removed by commenting out patch_PS2.
Tested only on CFW , since i don't have HEN. Now tested also on HEN, seems to work fine.

Fix PS2 Emulator
I also created pkg to fix ps2 emulator for HEN, nothing special there. It will just reinstall original emulator to dev_flash. So if you ever tried to mount PS2 ISO on HEN with ManaGunZ, use this pkg to fix emu. Then use ps2 games in ISO.BIN.ENC, or pkg format. Tested only on CFW , since i don't have HEN. Now tested also on HEN, seems to work fine.

Im posting this because an easy way to diagnose this problem is with the filemanager integrated inside ManaGunZ
Browse to that path, select and mark the file (with square button), then triangle button and you will see an option to check the MD5

Nice, seems better than reinstalling the HFW and redo the whole thing of HEN installation.

By nature, all non-BC PS3 models will see PS2 disc as "unsupported software", so does the PS2 iso files. Only PS2 Classics emulation software can do the job via its custom PKG file.

ManaGunz doesn't show my ISO.BIN.ENC files of PS2 GAMES, only .iso file are showing up in the application but when I mount them, XMB says "Unsupported File" , I've already used the fix emu.pkg, but nothing seems to be working.

What exactly end-user does Fix PS2 Emulator?
PS2ISO is almost different to modded ISO.BIN.ENC ...

Edit: I see, it's a fix for users who broken PS2 Emulator with ManaGunz... Ok!

I'm having the same problem. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I can only load ISO.BIN.EC files from WebmanMOD. Nothing else seems to work. Not even Multiman will detect them.

Sorry for the question but, if i see this MD5code while searching in Managunz filemanager, it means that i don't need to install the fix? I already installed Managunz but I didn't try to run any PS2ISO before so i have this doubt.

I've received multiple reports about mounting games on NTFS partion causes shutdown. so I checked and found out sprx_iso was signed as debug self [FSELF]

So here's the fix for PS3HEN, tested on 2.1.2 but should also work on 2.1.1 and below.

ManaGunz 1.35-J

it's based on @kozarovv 's fork (ps2emu patch disabled)
do you have link from this version 2.1.2?

be careful with the ps2 emulator problem if you upgrade to firmware 4.85.
I tested the "fix ps2 emulator" thing out of curiosity and it said "firmware not supported". so, unless there's an update of the fix, be careful if you try to run ps2 games.

Same MD5 for 4.85 btw (i was checking it right now for curiosity sake)

Then the file is fine (identical to the official) and you dont need to fix it :encouragement:
