Mother board not supplying power to BD drive(CECHG03)

Hi everyone, I need some help. I have a CECHG03 not supplying power to the BD drive. This all started with the console turning off immediately. I opened the top half of the case and to my suprise when i pressed the power switch it started up. Everything seemed okay I suspected a problem with the power supply because when I started it initially i got a slight burning smell however this smell didn't seem to be coming from the power supply. I tested the console and multiman works as well as webman and all the other apps so no issues here. It was only when u tried to put in a disk that I realised the BD drive had no power. I tried a known working one with known working leads and got the same result. So something seems to have blown resulting in no power being delivered to the BD drive.

Any help would be appreciated

I don't have details of that specific model to hand, but in your shoes I would try to find a service manual / schematic and locate which fuses are responsible for the BD then measure them with a meter to see if they have failed or not and troubleshoot from there.
