MultiMAN unofficial 04.83.00, posted by Shn İstanbul.

I tested on my PS3 Slim with 4.83 FERROX - Standard Edition and it is running.

Since multiMAN (latest sources) are closed source, we can easily conclude this not a 4.83 multiMAN and we do not see it from @deank

Likely a hack and slash of a previous version of multiMAN to display a different version (if its does that, i have not installed it).
Looking at the contents and a quick view of the PARAM.SFO it looks like that was taken from multiMAN 4.81.

yes mee to i found files are identical an PARAM.SFO say app.ver 4.81
 
Decrypt the eboot.bin of this (mod) version and the previous (deank) version
scetool.exe -d eboot481.bin eboot481.elf
scetool.exe -d eboot483.bin eboot483.elf

Then open both decrypted files in HxD hexeditor and in the tabs at top:
Analysis ---> data comparison ---> compare

Then press "F6" key repeatedly to "jump" to the bytes that differs

i didin't test it but does it show the correct firmware ver?? i mean 4.83

It's a backup manager for CFW PS3. And this is not the "Official" one made by deank (The dev who created MultiMAN), but rather someone's poor attempt at ripping it off. And I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot barge pole even if it does work as you don't know what they have done to it and comes from someone in istanbul. And it even says on the site it comes that its from its an older version patched to show as 4.83 and claims that once you install it, it will enable you to play online again, surf the net and watch youtube with it????

What a ton of BS i think its more likely been patched to be CID stealer and they don't have a clue what they are talking about. Highly suspect!!!

Its marked as unofficial. It just as not exactly multiMAN 4.83 (a hack and slash) but at the same time there is not much differences in the last several firmware updates, so functionality for just about every feature is there.. Perhaps why deank has really been in no hurry to update multiMAN (or busy) because essentially for the most part its very minor and minimal things that require an update.

The discussion is valid and its marked properly (even though the release is well not ideal or recommended (DL link removed) ) i see no reason for removal if the thread, if anything good the caution awareness is out there . multiMAN tested on a Standard Firmware, not ideal test firmware either since nothing in mmCM mode is tested (but likely works fine).

You cannot download it. The link has been removed from Mega already lol so the download link is invalid.

So you have to go to the site to download after going through a stupid adfly advert page (Why use this way to get people to the site??) Also after looking around the site his "Recomended" CFW update that is linked, if people haven't updated is the bogus SPY 4.83 crap that was a spoofed rip off of REBUG.

Download links down already, got to get to the site through adds, the site pushes SPY on you instead of Ferrox (which is in a side menu)
All suspect to me lol.
