PS3 multiman, managunz, webman mod, so confused

Ok I apologize ahead of time for being ignorant. I have CFW 4.90 Evilnat Cobra [CEX]. I am using an INTERNAL 1 TB HDD. I will never use any external HDDs ever. I only intend to use my internal HDD. Before I install homebrew and whatnot, I want to know what to use.

My interest is to play PS3, PS2, PS1, and whatever PSP backups works. Maybe I'll try retroarch after I master the other stuff (does retroarch degrade the PS3 hardware?).

I am so confused to what to use to play PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP. Multiman? Managunz? Webman mod? Can I install them all in my PS3 all at once without there being problems? Must I choose only 1? Which one do I have to use for my situation? Please do help.

You can have installed webMAN MOD, IRISMAN, multiMAN, Manager without conflict.

You can choose use only one of them or all.

The preferred scenario is:
- Use webMAN MOD to play PSX1, PS2, PS3, PSP, ROMS. They can be mounted directly from XMB, so it's more convenient and faster.
- Use IRISMAN, multiMAN or ManaGunZ to rip games and for file management.

Wow! Thank you so much! Simple and straight to the point!!!!

Is it true that Managunz plays PS2 games better than webMAN MOD? Or on CFW it makes no difference?

I'll be installing webMAN MOD to play games.

Of IRISMAN, multiman, or ManaGunz, which one is better for file management? Consider I am using an internal 1 TB HDD.

No. Both rely on Cobra payloads. So PS2 compatibility on CFW is the same.
On HEN both use PS2 Classics Placeholder (aka PS2 Classics Launcher).

ManaGunZ has a PS2 CONFIG editor that webMAN MOD doesn't have. So it's better if you want to create your own CONFIG.
On the other hand, webMAN MOD uses a PS2 CONFIG database to auto configure the PS2 games. That db is updated frequently.

IRISMAN.

IRISMAN uses an intuitive dual-panel like Norton Commander. Many people prefer this user interface.
ManaGunZ and multiMAN use a multi-window GUI for File Management that some people find more difficult to use.

ManaGunZ and IRISMAN have support for NTFS, exFAT, internal HDD and FAT32.
multiMAN doesn't support exFAT and NTFS is supported as read-only (it uses an old NTFS driver).

New problem. When I put IRISMAN and webMAN Mod on a USB stick and try to put it in my jailbroken PS3, I keep getting "An error occurred during the install operation. (80029566)"

I can't put in any of these programs on my PS3. Why is this?

Update: I fixed it.

First I downloaded IRISMAN and webMAN Mod from their respective Github pages.

Then I made sure to unplug my controller. I forgot that having the controller plugged into the front USB port complicates things when installing things from a USB stick. I just installed IRISMAN, webMAN Mod, and the two PSP things that are under the webMAN download list. I will now begin to have fun with my PS3!!!!!
