PS2 MX4SIO does not display PS2 CD games

Hi, I have two games (Disgaea 1 and Rez), I first tried patching them and got the 'No UDF descriptor' error, I saw people talk about 'converting the cd image to dvd' but the links to instructions were dead or required me to buy windows only software (using Linux, dont want to purchase something like that), then I just tried putting a few different versions of the game images into the the DVD folder like my other functoining games on MX4SIO and then the CD folder but they did not display. What can I do to get these games to work either by disc or MX4SIO?

Rip your CD games with ImgBurn:

ImgBurn should create BIN+CUE files of your CD game.
Try to use WINE to launch this app or find another that can do the same thing.

Convert BIN to ISO with WinBin2Iso:

Put your game into CD folder for OPL.

You need 2048 sector size disc image, not 2352.

Iirc, opl manager, if you use that, the latest, crashes in wine. It may have been fixed, but someone mentioned it at one point, and it did the same to me. Earlier version did not. Both work fine in windows normally.

thank you! winbin2iso worked with wine, I can now play these games off my SD card
