My PS3 is infected

I've been seeing some files inside hdd folders. At first I thought they were part of the system files, but they are spreading all over the place into other folders. I see three files: PHOTO.SRC, IMG001.EXE and INFO.ZIP
Just removing them won't fix the issue, they keep coming back.

I have Rebug 4.81 and I do use filezilla to access my game region folder. Irisman and Webman are installed.
Do I have to format the console then start from scratch? If so, is it ganna take me back to OFW, and I have to jailbreak it again?
How do I prevent this from happening again?

Mostly because one of your PCs is infected and tries to send files throught local network.. Most systems have their firewall, except for the ps3 when on DMZ

Yeah, the PS3 is the victim but the responsible is other PC in your network
You can delete the files in the PS3 as many times you want... but is going to happen again until you clean the infected PC

@Rocks860 There is no, known malicious code for PS3 (which doesn't mean that is impossible). However, the situation which You described is not related to PS3 and You are safe. Just delete the crap by file manager. Any concern is infection of network to which You connecting console. Some device (could be even router) trying infecting at least Windows (because of *.exe extension but two other files could be a target for mime parser in other; I' to lazy to googling it :P).

If "Disable remote access to FTP/WWW services" is check marked, all the requests to FTP/WWW will be rejected except the ones from the localhost and from the IP specified in the text box. If the setup is accessed from a PC and the check box is unchecked, it will show the IP address of your PC.

The text box next to "Pwd" is the password used to access the FTP server. The password can be defined without have to disable remote access to FTP/WWW service. However for increased security, both settings are highly recommended to be used even if the console is not exposed directly to the Internet.

If security is a concern, ADMIN/USER MODE available under XMB/In-Game PAD SHORTCUTS reduces the chances of malicious access to your system through web commands. Only mount and low-risk operations will be allowed in the default USER MODE.

It's also suggested to use a non-standard port for FTP.
