Yup the PS3 has no way to control an SSD as it should. SSHD seem to give me the best results without issues but they are kind small in size.

Maybe because there`s no DRAM cache... when its pseudo SLC cache is full writing speed drop nasty. My 1TB Crucial MX500 working great.
