PS3 NEC/Tokin Tantalum piggyback question

Hello All.
My first post here, be gentle.

I have a question regarding replacing the nec/tokins with 470uF 2.5v Tantalums. Or rather NOT replacing but piggyback and leaving the Tokins in place.

I have a cechB with a sony frankied 40mm RSX. When I got it I had YLOD but syscon reported a lot of AO801002 errors.
I have previously replaced tokins with jumper wire and 4 tantalums per space, but had seen a youtube where someone piggybacked the tantalums. I really liked the idea. Less damage to the MB and the remaining Tokins can do their job with help. Well thats my theory.

The console has been running great for about 4hours test, no problems so far running TLOU with nice cool temps (63c with 27% Fan)

I already have a cechA not frankied and want to sell this cechB to buy new tools, but I don't want to sell something that will fail in a month.

Does anyone have any input on this piggyback method? pro's Vs cons'?
I would like to hear before giving this console a new forever home.

ps the picture is not my work, just one I found on the internet but it shows the idea.

Thank you All

Well just for anyone else who tries this fix. My piggybacked tantalums seem to be doing the job nicely. A lot of testing, heat cycling and no problems.
