PS3 Need community help to collect data

These were taken after the 485.hex file was flashed.

All 3 gave ROS0 & ROS1 warnings when running them through PyPS3checker.

I took the chance and rebooted my console anyway and everything was just fine, and I was able to downgrade to REBUG 4.84.2 REX after enabling QA.

Your version of PyPS3checker is outdated, that why the two warnings. I updated it with flash_485 hashes three days ago. you should re-download it.

And thank you very mutch for your files but I don't need your dumps. Only the extract.csv of only one dump per console. You should remove your links asap.

Copy that. Sorry, I thought you needed the dump files as well. I've removed all my links and I'll download the updated tool. Thank you

Here is my file. So my problem is, my ps3 is a 20004A with mincheck 2.70. But i got a hash error and I don`t know I should continue to the cfw or not.
Hi
Yes you are good to go ahead. Your trvk_prg is 2.85 from factory and was not referenced yet. That's why the warning. Now I can add it to the hash database. Thanks.

I was waiting 3 hours ago then I successfully installed SPY 4.85, this is the only available CFW on the site recently. And here the other report.

Thank you. That's interesting.

2.85 trvk_prg1, 3.01 trvk_prg0 and 3.01 version string from syscon.

So, it looks like Sony installed at least a 2.85 system version (private), then the 3.01 public version at the factory.
In add, it seems the console has never been updated until the 3.56+ (trvk_prg are never updated at PUP install with the firmwares above 3.55).
And It doen't seem a refurbished unit.

Any theory on this @sandungas ?

That's the second version of 2.85 trvk_prg (aka RL_FOR_PROGRAM.img) I'm seeing.

I also seen two versions of 1.97 trvk_prg. Those two system versions have never been publicly released but it seems Sony used at least two variant of them on CEX units.

Code:
    <hash name="2.85 (from factory)">AE01F57AC2F55453D4030BDCCB1534FF</hash>  <!--  seen on a 2K trvk_prg0 -->
    <hash name="2.85 (from factory)">647309C958E755CEF7144B94CFEF9FCA</hash>  <!--  seen on a 2K trvk_prg1, with 3.01 in trvk_prg0 and in syscon -->
    <hash name="1.97 (from factory)">F3B05E710B026177799E677ACE5F7DDA</hash> <!--  seen on a CECHG trvk_prg0 -->
    <hash name="1.97 (from factory)">88A817FA588952A87F92E2AAB9550578</hash> <!--  seen on a CECHG trvk_prg1 -->

Not really, it seems they installs the firmware at factory several times, but is hard to me to understand which rules they follows or how they does it
I remember a talk where someone was saying that they firmware installation at factory is made in 4 separated write processes o_O

Tried with PyPS3checker-standalone-package_2020-02-01_131319, on my CECHC03, and got 1 warning. In searching if ok, found this thread, so shall attach the extract too. changed csv ext to txt, as issues uploading.
Thank you. Interesting. It seems your CECHC as never been updated between FW 1.50 (factory FW?) and FW 3.56. Both trvk_prg are still 1.00 with one from unknown pup (factory pup?) and one from the public OFW 1.50 pup.
Could you perform the "Get Console Versions Info" process?

Yeah, got a free ps3, not used for ages. Came in original box with 1.80 OFW!
No a speck of dust inside, and have decided to make it a keeper. Ended up continuing with ps3xploit downgrade, and worked a treat. Now want to pop off the IHSs and do it properly. Any recommendations appreciated. I mean the original thermal paste was still moist! Have carved fan inlet to base of case and removed the psu cover to try and lower temps.

CECHA01, Gamestop refurb sticker, recently updated from 3.47 (iirc) to 4.87. Renamed .csv to .txt to upload, also added checklog with parts redacted just in case.

Many thx!

So, your console has not been refurbished. But it seems has not been updated between fw 1.90 and 3.56 at least. The trvk_prg1 seems from factory but it's hard to say what version (versions from 1.00 to 1.90 always shows 1.00).
I'll update the hash list with your hash.

Thanks

just wondering,
now that we have HEN, would it be possible for hen users provide some information that could be useful for PyPS3checker ?

e.g., if the "Get Console Versions Info" doesn't require LV1 access, then I assume HEN users could run it too

Get Console info works partially on HEN. Only data from syscon are missing. That works for minver, platform ID, etc.
Anyway, data from the dumps are more important for the checker. Dumps can be mayde with PS3toolset on all models.
