Hello

NOTEs
my brother gave me a Jailbroken PS3 super slim. this is my first ever PS3 and have to knowledge of Jailbreaking, my last console was a PS2 slim which was a shock to me when a PS3 SUPER SLIM was this massive.
the unit has HEN, webMAN and Multiman in it, Aswell as 10 games that had been preinstalled
Instructions on how to use it said to run HEN first, then webMAN games folder appears > Playstation 3 folder, in it lists the games installed.

HEN 3.0.3
webMAN 1.47.35 MOD
mmCM

what I have been able to do [followed MODDED WARFARE instructions on youtube]
was able to connect the PS3 to PC by Ethernet cable to modem
also able to access PS3 by Filezilla and see installed games(folder types not ISO) on "GAMES" folder.
was able to move a copy of DMC(folder type not ISO) on the same folder.

Problem is the game I moved doesn't show.

I was thinking the same thing when I got my superslim. it's so much larger than I had imagined (almost as large as a normal slim).

If u have any disks, then u can rip it with the help of multiman/irisman.
If the games are downloaded, then sorry we cannot help u as it is against forum rules.

it's been a long time, but I believe you have to refresh the database for the game to appear. I don't think you just drop it in the folder, and make it appear immediately. iirc, the system reboots after you've refreshed the database, probably to reload it into memory.

Quick question the folder you sent over via FTP can you see if from your PC? If so open the folder and what is in there? That could be your issue but would need some more info to help more. But first refresh via multiMAN and if it shows up mount it and launch on the XMB there.

When copying JB game folder, the directory should be like this ".../GAMES/[PS3-TITLE]" then followed by its subdirectories "PS3_GAME" which contain game data files.

folder shows the game folders of the pre installed games, I have tried launching from multiMAN but it wasn't listed aswell

I'll test this out, just to clarify an example perse DMC, the dir should be /GAMES/[PS3-DMC]/PS3_GAME folder + PS3_DISC.SFB

the game I want to install did come from a DVD but I copied from a friend by external HD does that affect it?

Right?? because my PS2 slim fits like a book but a PS3 SUPER SLIM is like YEAR BOOK size

I did see a refresh LIST on webMAN, didn't work.

I'm sorry but it Is against our rules here to help you with non owned content. Just because you didn't download the game from a piracy or Warez site doesn't suddenly make it ok. If you need help with ripping any games that you own then that would be different.
