Need Help, alot of random issues.

Havn't played my ps3 in maybe 5months or more. I'm on CFW 4.84 Rebug ( slim )

When I try playing a game, I suddenly get a trophy registration error.
I've tried both updating to OFW (via internet) & CFW 4.85 and also downgrading to 3.55 but i get error 80029c78.

I've been searching around and cant find a fix, I've tried:

FSM , RSOD fix * . Remarry Bluray Drive = "read EPROM Failed: 8001050f"
Rebuilding Database
Restoring FileSystem
RSOD Pkg Fix
Tried installing Update via RecoveryMode = serious error occured message
Tried Deleting Trophys

at the moment , i'm unable to play any games at all.. both disc and installed games give the trophy error.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
I've had it to where I got a trophy registration error with one game (snookers I think), and the solution was signing in to another account. another time, on my current system, I had a trophy registration error that affected every game. the problem was a corrupted trophy installation, so I deleted it manually. this happened on both dex and cex but different errors. eventually, I had the trophy error when the game finally booted up. all is fixed now after trying several things.

When starting PS3, ask the Date and Time settings, right?
In my experience, the problem comes from around the syscon IC, try checking the crystal, and reheating the Syscon IC.
 
that's probably the right move. when I had my issues, I was able to install updates. ferrox didn't have the trophy problem, only rebug did, but I fixed it by deleting the trophy files manually. it was only one game's trophies messing it up for all games somehow. I had bought the system while it was on dex. I had errors on both cex and dex before doing that. different errors too, but the trophy one crept up when I finally got something to load.
