Hey all, I am interested in customizing some stuff with PS3, and other miscellaneous emulator's! Am new to this type of thing, if anyone is interested and may possibly have some helpful tips & recommendations, I would much be most appreciative!! Hi.

There is no tips as You cannot make irreversible changes doing homebrew themes/mods, so, do experiments!

If target graphics will be PNG, then consider to use optipng (for removing metadata) or pngquant (for reducing to 8bit but with transparent). Also plugin for Photoshop like SuperPNG will be handy because it have super important (for XMB resources) option called "clear transparent data" (whatever it means ;]), GIMP also have this by default, yet need to be marked during export.
