could someone point me to @Coro post there were three diffrent methods to update listed there and A link coro also mentioned some files that have to be renamed and placed on USB I cannot find this post anywhere Help please.

Yes this is exactly what happened to me... I got it fixed once with a fresh HFW install and HEN 3.01 Worked great until i installed hentoolbox it broke the enabler now it just freezes enabling hen.

The reason hen enabler froze is because hen toolbox modifies game_category.xml. Run hen enabler package that @Coro posted earlier in this post. Hen enabler should work again.

the update on **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) is good. i installed last night and started a few homewbrew with no shutdowns.

are you enabling hen as soon as you turn on ps3?

did you install from **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new)?

what model number do you have? cech-????

you can try reinstalling hfw and then hen.

hen has been updated and that should no longer be required.

@Ted Huang i forgot to mention this...if you install old hen toolbox then the enabler will not work. you would need the update from here.

Aware @Coro but IDK if it's because some people are coming from unofficial to updated hen but it freezes. I myself modified the new hen category_game.xml, the same way I did for unofficial and the new enabler worked. So I have also tried your package. Both methods work.

okay. i had just deleted both copies but i will put it here for now.

i recommend anyone with this problem to reinstall hen again. if enable hen still doesnt work, let me know how you installed it (which installer, did you use official site or other, did you install toolbox) and i will try to reproduce.

i got one fail with reboot but no hangs out of a dozen trys.

Got the new HEN 3.0.2 update and have download the new HFW onto a flash drive but when I go to install the HFW on the system it won't let me. It says, Until further notice, please stay on this firmware. Somebody help.

select update via usb (not internet)

or try safe/recovery mode

When I start multi man or webman mod my ps3 freezes on a black screen until I restart it. I'm using a backwards compatible A01.

you need to start your own thread. choose a good title so people will click on it. give a lot of details ao they can help you. (details like cfw name and version, did you install something right before it started happening, anything you tried already that you thought it might be, did you spill soda on it, etc.)

Excellent news!
So far, so good: I only tested mounting an iso via Webman and playing it, and had no issues.
My update was fairly problem free: updated firmware twice via flash with no issues, initializing the Hen installer via browser required a few reboots to get working, but after that no issues.
