Hey all, tearing my hair out here. I've been working on my dream FHDB image for 2 years, and as a final update, wanted to use the newer OPL builds for POPSTARTER support for PS1 games. Using v1.0 or the daily build grabbed last night, imaging to a 2TB drive, OPL cannot see the +OPL partition at all. It can't see any HDD games, apps, etc. and can't write settings.
Older OPL versions (from 2020) seem to read it fine and save fine, and the same image on a 60GB SSD (what I built the image from) seems to work fine, as well. But when I take that image and apply it to a 2TB drive, suddenly OPL just doesn't read anything with these newer versions.
Any ideas? I tried deleting all the config files to no avail. The fact that it works fine on 60GB but not 2TB, meanwhile older versions work fine on both is also really bizarre to me. Not sure what to make of it. I've been using the "make image on 60GB then burn it to 2TB drive" strategy for 2 years without issue with older OPL versions, so I don't think the size difference should matter.
Here is a video of the image working fine on 60GB (this is after re-imaging with the image, so the image isn't corrupt either):
Here is a video of it NOT working on 2TB:
Right away the obvious differences also including that OPL boots immediately on 60GB, but (not shown in the clip) takes like 3 minutes to load on 2TB with a black screen, AND (visible in clip) the 60GB loads the themes right away and the 2TB can't even see the themes since it seemingly can't see the HDD. Which it's literally running off of. lol.
Version on both of these is OPL v1.2.0-Beta-DB-2202-642FE4E, but I get the same results with a 1.10 ELF I've tried.
pls halp
