hello everyone in team psx-place

i have pb never solved and i try hard almost everything

my ps3 is 2000A - CFW 4.84.2 Rebug ( everything was fain until i open multiman and try to quit the app i just chose quit XMB by mistake and system trun off and never run again keep shown me this message
i try solved here in every pb like main but never solved

both they are 16 GB and both i try MBR formatin : no working

i try in Safe mode and try to update : never working

i try format HDD Hard Drive : never working
Try to format the HDD Hard Drive fom NTFS TO FAT32 : never working

also try update from 4.xx to 4.90 never working i do everyting i could

please guys what is the pb i am going to lose my mind
 
Couple things were you on dex? And if you can get usb to work, you can burn a cd/disk with the ps3 /update /ps3updat.pup and update via disk
 
I AM IN DEX YES >> I WAS ON CEX BUT I CHANGED DEX @Supermaripro

how i use burn disk via any program like nero and other ?
and how is the cd read on ps3

i have flashUSB and i buy another one today and both format FAT32 & BOTH 16 GB
all way for USB Update not working if the last way is burn update on ps3 do you video for how to do it and which type of cd i need 8 gb or mb and is there a sloution before the CD i remember i had this proplem with years ago with different ps3 i fixed but this one dosent work with him any

and i am still on black screen with message i cant acc to ps3 main to get cd work or from safe mode i can do it ?

the usb drive work well on ps3 both but ps3 not reading the usb drive and i try everything i said above expect via CD but when i saw video on youtube he use CD and update via usb storage i can acc my ps3 anymore still on black screen with message
 
@Valfalk What update .PUP file are you trying to install? You need to be installing Rebug 4.84.2 D-REX so the errors you've been getting is likely due to you attempting to installing a CEX update such as Rebug REX or something else.

i am jailbreak the device on 4.85 then i downgrade to 4.84.2 rebug cex when i cant open online i just make it DEX then i never go online i just woundering to test something but the problem begins with ( multiman i just install some game when i need ( Quit i just use Quit from XMB ) something like that then the system just restarting and never back to screen keep showing system not run correctly


i try do everything -> formating hard drive NTFS & FAT32 THEN Formating both my flash drive 16 gb Fat32 and exFat and i do the oppsite and try go to last firmware the poblem ps3 ( not reading the USB i see the light on my USB FLASH toshiba but no files i dont know what i have to do i have been sad with this pb 3 days ago and try to fixed by myself

Fundamentally it's not a very good idea to switch to DEX then update, it's usually safer using CEX to do updates as you get more fallback options should anything go wrong.

what i have to do i am almost see all video in youtube and do all steps correct but when i am going put USB flash keep saying this message (

also iam trying uplug my controller wired but nothing still same

there is only one thing i never tested ( replecment the hard drive if he dirty or have some damage but when i put him in my PC he work correctly without any problem

just i need to know keep my self back to CEX or DEX

and is there any idea back online on 4.90 spoofing ? i am not using cheat or something just try do some staff is there any tool for back online with spoofing or any new idea and thank you again all of you

I would suggest CEX unless there is a specific need to be on DEX firmware. With CEX you can install 4.90 CFW from Evilnat, and not need to spoof using DEX mode - doing so I imagine has greater risks than being on actual 4.90 firmware, but there is no guaranteed 100% safe option signing in to PSN while using an exploited console/firmware.
 
In summary, PS3 will not see any storage on USB if his logic structure:
  • is encrypted
  • have other partition table than MBR (can be also no partition table at all)
  • have other partitions than only first in table (I mean, You can have but seeing is only first)
  • have other filesystem on first partition than FAT32
  • update package have wrong name and/or is put in wrong directory tree
  • update package is CEX while You on DEX fw and vice versa (there are two Rebug CFW lines: Rex and D-Rex, depend for which target id)
  • update package contains fw version lower than You have installed or spoofed to be installed

With evilnat 4.90 i can access all file in CFW like Rebug ? And which one is the best cause i wanna full access on system like unlock trophy edit trophy install game and pkg download any game without specific like hen some game work and some not what is the best

i use evilnat 4.90cfw and can do all of what u have mentioned, i havent edited trophys but i have apollo save tool which has options for trophy's, i have only ever used cex i was on 3.55 kmeaw till i updated recently, so i dont know what extra access dex or the rebug cfw give u but evilnat cfw has its on own tool kit and enough access i feel like theres no need for any extra access unless ur going to develop stuff
